Monteque Rhames releases top 8
One of the state of South Carolina's top high school football prospects has released a group of finalists in his recruitment.
Sumter's Monteque Rhames, a standout defensive end in the 2023 class, published the leaderboard via Twitter on Thursday night.

The 6-foot-6, 240-pounder included Coastal Carolina, NC State, FSU, Virginia Tech, Georgia, Michigan, UCF, and South Carolina in the group.
Rhames is ranked by Rivals.com as a four-star prospect and as the nation's 186th-best prospect regardless of position in his class.
