The Citadel added explosive playmaking ability to its offensive corps on Friday with the commitment of Cane Bay's Kris Copeland, PalmettoPreps.com confirmed this weekend.

The 5-foot-8, 160-pounder also carried offers from Albany State, Jacksonville, Limestone, and Newberry.

Per the Charleston Post and Courier, Copeland rushed for nearly 1,500 yards and 19 touchdowns as a senior.
