Columbia (SC) Ridge View High School is home to some outstanding players for the Class
of 2007, as we have evaluated them well this Spring. Two of those players are wide
receiver Brandon
King and defensive back John Synovec. King and Synovec each
turned some heads at Nike Camp and then at their Spring Practice, enough to get them
invitations to some one day camps this summer.
King, a 6-6 1/2 receiver, has already been invited to Wake Forest's one day camp this
Summer, and on Tuesday night, got a call from Middle Tennessee State inviting him up to
their one day camp on June 4th.
"I was excited about the call," said King. "I want to play ball in
college and I'm going to look at every opportunity."
Joining King on the visit will by defensive back John Synovec, who also got a call from
the Middle Tennessee State coach on Tuesday night.
"He said that they liked what they saw on my film," said Synovec, "and
they liked what they saw of me at the Nike Camp."
King has already cracked the SCVarsity.com Top Twenty players list, and his stock will
certainly continue to climb as the season gets under way. Synovec is defenitely a Top
Thirty player for SCVarsity.com and has a chance to climb higher after some Fall
evaluation.
Stay tuned to SCVarsity.com as we follow these two outstanding
scholastic-athletes through their senior year.
