This weekend, Cooper got his first offer - The University of South Carolina Gameocks.
Coach Reaves offered Scotty during an unofficial visit to Columbia this weekend. Cooper
told SCVarsity.com that he was told he's being recruited as an outside linebacker.
At this point, Cooper has no favorites.
"The school I pick is going to be one that best fits my needs," said Cooper.
He does say that early playing time could play a part.
Cooper, a 6-1, 200lbs two-way starter, collected 96 tackles on the defensive side of
the ball. He had eleven tackles for loss and four sacks. He's a vital part of the Panther
running game and is very dangerous as a kick returner.
Cooper is all about SPEED. He ran a 10.5 100 meters in the region track meet last
season. He has good, quick reactions and can really accelerate to ball. He gets off of
blocks really well. is excellent in pursuit, not only from speed standpoint but the angles
he takes, as you can see on film when he tracks plays down from behind.
