Foster Looking For School To Fill Last Visit Slot

Boiling Springs (S.C.) wide receiver Brooks Foster (6’3, 180, 4.5) is one of the most sought after receiver prospects in the Southeast. He has four visits set and South Carolina is fighting it out for the last visit in hopes of landing the All-Star prospect. Foster spoke about his feeling toward the Gamecocks.
"Coach Guge was recruiting me for USC, but he got fired from USC and I haven't heard too much from USC ever since,” he said. “I’ve already visited Maryland and Kentucky. I’ve got visits set up to North Carolina on Jan. 9 and Clemson on Jan. 16. Duke, South Carolina or Wake Forest will get my last visit.”

Who leads for the three-star prospect at this time?
“Maryland and Kentucky have an edge because I have already have visited there. But I’m still looking around right now.”
What factors will help Foster decide which college he will sign with on National Signing Day?
“I’m looking at the atmosphere, playing time, and if I feel comfortable there,” he said. “I can probably earliest at Duke and Kentucky, but that isn't that big of a factor. Distance is a factor, but not a big factor.”
Foster is 6-foot-3, weighs 180 pounds, runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds, and claims a 34-inch vertical leap. Rivals.com rates him the No. 65 wide receiver in the country after catching 45 passes for 800 yards and seven touchdowns as a senior. He also had two kickoff returns for touchdowns.
Brooks maintains a 3.76 GPA and scored a 980 on the SAT so qualifying should not be a problem. He plans to major in either business or computer science.
